notes:	Rode with a guy named Marcus King - he delivers mail in Paradise and is from Chico, both of which sound utterly novel to me. We ride and break the first trails - I'm actually one of the first on the chairlift. He and I are just behind the ski patrol. We break trails on the front side of the mountain - which is so piddly, but actually, the backside turns out to have some long trails. And because he knows where to cut, we find the sole working chairlift. I ride until 12 when I have to go to a work conference in Sunnyvale.
